Position:                        Business Manager

Start Date:                     1 September 2020 or soon after this date 

Annual salary:               £30,000 (OTE £40,000)

Time Commitment:     Full time, 25 days annual leave

Hours:                            37.5 hours per week, 8.30 – 5pm or 9.00 – 5.30pm

Location:                       Palingswick House, 241 King Street, Hammersmith W6 9LP

Pension:                        Eligible to join the Local Government Pension Scheme

Reports to:                    Director of Operations

KST Enterprises Ltd is a subsidiary of the Knowledge Schools Trust, we operate highly successful schools in West London and currently have four sites in Kensington and Hammersmith. We are looking for a Business Manager to be responsible for the commercial success of our after-school programme and the development of our premise’s lettings.

We operate at two sites a breakfast club and after-school club which offers parents childcare services.  Our Business Manager will supervise the successful delivery of this program and ensure that it meets quality and commercial standards.

We also offer our premises for external hire outside of normal school hours. Our business manager will be responsible for seeking out new clients, ensuring the facilities are presented to a high standard, and increasing revenue for the trust.

We are looking for someone with high levels of commercial acumen, excellent organisational skills, the ability to manage people as well as good sales and marketing skills. The successful candidate will need to be able to build relationships both internally and externally to the organisation, not only to deliver a high-quality service but drive an increase in income and profit.

All profits created by KST Enterprises are directly invested into the development of the educational provision of Knowledge Schools Trust.
